1982 Sabre 34

This 1982 Sabre 34 sloop is a fiberglass cruiser with solid sailing qualities and thoughtful modern upgrades. Powered by a 2018 Volvo Penta D1-30 diesel engine with approximately 900 hours, the boat carries a Schaefer genoa roller furling system and mainsail with 2 reefing points, supported by a Hall spars aluminum mast and modern deck hardware including Lewmar winches and a Harken mainsheet traveller. The standing rigging was replaced in 2021, and both mainsail and genoa date to 2014.

Below, the interior features a handsome varnished teak and holly cabin that sleeps 5–6. Forward is a vee berth with filler and outboard shelving; the enclosed head to starboard includes a Raritan manual head and handheld shower with stainless steel sink. The main salon offers settees to port and starboard with cream ultrasuede cushions, and a dining table mounted on the bulkhead. The galley to starboard has a Tasco LPG stove and oven, double stainless sinks with hot and cold pressure water, and a 12V Isotherm refrigerator. A nav station and spacious quarter berth occupy the aft cabin section.

Navigation and systems are well-equipped: 2022 Garmin 10-inch radar/chartplotter with repeater at the helm, Raymarine VHF and ST6002 autopilot, and Raymarine ST60 depth and wind instruments. Tankage includes 20 gallons fuel, 60 gallons water in multiple poly tanks, and 24 gallons holding with a 12V macerator pump. A 2018 Lofrans 12V anchor windlass with 50 feet of chain and nylon rode handles ground tackle. Three 2021 AGM batteries power the boat, with 2023 solar panels on a bimini providing trickle charge.

Recent maintenance includes a 2025 macerator pump replacement, 2023 lifeline and fresh water pump overhauls, 2021 standing rigging replacement, and 2018 engine work with a new dripless shaft seal and exhaust riser. The boat carries full canvas—a Sunbrella mainsail cover, dodger with polycarbonate windshield, full bimini with enclosure extensions, and custom window treatments throughout.
