Built in 1983 by Camper & Nicholsons in Gosport, England, this 60-foot cutter was designed by Dave Pedrick and represents the refined engineering of that era. The fiberglass hull combines classic lines with excellent sailing performance, managed by hydraulically controlled sails and powered winches that make handling straightforward for a small crew. A single 120 hp Yanmar diesel provides auxiliary power, with cruising speeds around 8 knots and a maximum of 9 knots under sail and engine.
The layout centers on an aft helm cockpit with a private companionway leading to the master stateroom. Forward are two guest cabins that can be opened into a larger suite. Three heads serve the four-cabin interior, providing comfortable accommodation for extended cruising.
A comprehensive refit from 2001 to 2002 modernized the yacht's systems and finishes: new teak decks, hull and spar paint, refined interior joinery, updated winches, hydraulic furling, and new electronics. Between 2021 and 2022, the mast and all rigging were replaced with new equipment. These upgrades preserve the boat's classic character while bringing its structure and systems to current standards.
