This 1983 Lord Nelson Victory is a 37-foot fiberglass tug-trawler built on traditional New England workboat lines. The hull design emphasizes seaworthiness with high bulwarks running the full perimeter of the deck, while the raised pilothouse is fully enclosed and offers 360-degree sightlines. Teak decks are in sound condition, and the boat was repowered in 1999 with a Yanmar 4LH-DTE turbocharged diesel engine producing 175 horsepower. At 8 knots cruising speed, the boat consumes roughly 2.75 gallons per hour and achieves a range of 1,200-plus nautical miles.

The interior centers on a spacious main salon with original Lord Nelson chairs positioned aft. The galley lies to port. Forward is a stateroom with a double berth, complemented by a separate head and shower stall. Storage throughout is generous. Climate control comes from dual air conditioning and heating units. Recent upgrades include new fuel tanks (220 gallons), water tankage (195 gallons), and a new starter. Two AGM 8-D batteries provide house and engine power.

Navigation and boat control systems reflect modern standards. The pilothouse hosts updated Raymarine electronics including a color chartplotter, GPS, and radar, alongside two autopilot controllers. Engine instrumentation includes oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel consumption monitoring via Floscan. Hydraulic steering replaced the original cable system. A Vetus bow thruster aids maneuvering. The bronze running gear is protected by a skeg, and the shaft line incorporates a cutter. The propeller is a three-blade bronze 18-by-22 right-hand unit.

Additional equipment includes an electric windlass anchor, solar panels mounted on the pilothouse roof, and a canvas snap covering for the windows. The hull received a soda blast, strip, and epoxy barrier coat using West System materials. A dinghy with an electric Torqeedo motor is included.
