This 1983 Morgan 32-3 is a solid fiberglass cruising sailboat with a proven design that balances comfort and performance. The hull is in very good condition and has spent most of its life in freshwater, which has helped preserve the structure. The encapsulated keel design eliminates keel bolts, and the keel-stepped aluminum mast and boom are bare and in strong condition. The original rigging appears serviceable, and the sails still have several years of life remaining with a working furling jib.
The interior layout is roomy for a 32-footer, with particularly wide decks and strong engine access compared to similar-sized cruisers. Accommodations include an alcohol stove, operational refrigerator, holding tank with head plumbing, and generous ventilation throughout. Air conditioning equipment is installed but currently not operational. The boat carries two gel batteries and a 1000W inverter for onboard power.
Navigation and convenience systems include a working depth sounder and operational Lowrance electronics. The boat is equipped with self-tailing winches, tricolor masthead light, spreader lights, and mast steps. A fuel polishing system is fitted. The propeller is protected, and a Yanmar 3GMF diesel engine powers the boat. A cockpit enclosure and 25-foot plow anchor are included. Note that mast wiring requires completion.
