This 1983 Morgan Catalina is a 45-foot fiberglass sloop rigged for cruising. The boat is powered by a Perkins 4-108 diesel inboard engine paired with a Velvet Drive transmission, with approximately 450 engine hours on the recently refitted power plant. The sloop carries a roller-furling jib and in-mast furling mainsail, supported by robust rigging and winches. A new anchor windlass is installed.
The engine, stuffing box, propeller, and shaft have all been recently serviced and overhauled. The hull has been sanded and prepped for bottom paint application. Through-hull fittings and plumbing have been mostly updated, and a new marine head and shower pump are aboard.
Several systems and components are included but not yet installed: two new air conditioning units and a new refrigerator. Extensive spare parts and additional equipment are also included with the boat. A collection of supplies and gear supports the cruising platform these systems represent.
