1983 O'Day 34

This 1983 O'Day 34 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat with a deep fin keel design. Powered by a 24 hp Westerbeke engine that was remanufactured and installed in 2019, the boat combines traditional sailing capability with modern systems. The yacht has been actively cruised, including a 500-mile passage to the North Channel in summer 2025.

The boat has received extensive updates over recent years. New Quantum sails were installed in 2021, including a Bacon main with two reefs added in 2018. The main and genoa halyards were replaced in 2023. Navigation and communication equipment includes a Standard Horizon VHF with AIS and remote mic, plus a Raymarine autopilot. Below deck, a new head was installed in 2022, with updated electrical systems including new house batteries in 2024 and a refreshed panel.

Creature comforts and conveniences include a propane cabin heater, solar panel on the cabin top, Samsung TV with antenna, and a West Marine Bluetooth stereo with four Alpine waterproof speakers. A bimini top shades the cockpit. Canvas covers protect both the helm and mainsail. A spare anchor and GFCI outlets complete the systems. The boat was stored indoors over winter and is ready for spring cruising season.
