1983 Pacific Seacraft 34

This 1983 Pacific Seacraft 34 is a well-maintained fiberglass cruising sailboat built for extended offshore passages and weekend cruising in protected waters. The hull measures 34 feet in length with a 10-foot beam, powered by a single 38-horsepower Yammer diesel engine. The engine has logged 3,721 hours and received comprehensive recent maintenance including new injectors, starter motor, fuel lines, impeller, and exhaust system components. A bronze three-blade feathering max-prop and dripless shaft seal round out the propulsion package.

The rigging is modern and well-equipped for blue-water sailing. The deck-stepped aluminum mast carries a full wardrobe of sails: a Quantum mainsail with stack pack, 135% and 150% Quantum and North Sails genoas, a North Sails staysail, a North Sails gennaker, and a North Sails Code 65 Xi. Four Lewmar winches (two ST48 and two ST16), Harken mainsheet blocks and traveller, and a Harken Reflex top-down furling system manage sail handling. The standing rigging was inspected by Blackline Marine in 2022. Ground tackle includes a Lofrans Cayman 12V DC windlass, a 15-kilogram Rocna anchor with 160 feet of galvanized chain, and a Fortress FX 23 secondary anchor.

Interior spaces feature teak and holly sole throughout, custom headliner, newer upholstery, and refinished accommodations. The galley contains a Force-10 two-burner propane stove with oven, NorCold refrigeration, and double stainless steel sinks. Domestic systems include an ESPAR D3L diesel heater, an Isotherm hot water heater with engine and electrical heating, and a manual Jabsco head with fresh Y-valve. Electrical power comes from four Lifeline AGM house batteries, one Lifeline start battery, and a Victron 2000-watt inverter-charger installed in 2022. Navigation electronics include dual Garmin chart plotters, Garmin xHD radar, autopilot system, NMEA 2000 backbone, and an iCOM VHF radio. The boat carries two new propane tanks and includes a Takacat 260 LX tender with boarding equipment.

Recent upgrades span the past five years: new hatches, window glass, heating system, head and shower pump, batteries, invertrer-charger, alternator regulator, dual battery monitors, fuel tank inspection and cleaning, engine mounts, traveller and mainsheet blocks, custom aluminum prod, Code 65 sail, furling system, canvas and covers, propane locker rebuild, companion way hatch, and windlass backing plate. The staysail stay and galvanic isolator are among the newest additions.
