1983 Rybovich 55 Convertible

The 1983 Rybovich 55 Convertible is a wood-hulled sportfish powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 1,430 horsepower. She cruises at 27 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 30 knots. The yacht measures 55 feet in length with a 17-foot beam and accommodates three cabins and two heads.

The boat has undergone significant refitting work over recent years. A full paint job was completed in June 2022 by Michael Rybovich. The tuna tower is new from 2016. Engine service was performed at 930 hours, with a 1,000-hour interval recommended. Recent work completed in early 2025 includes new bottom paint with micron 66 specification, new propspeed on the running gear, new shaft seals with two spares installed, a new chiller plate, and wheel balancing. In May 2025, four fresh coats of varnish were applied. The carpet was cleaned and an annual fire inspection was performed in September 2025. A Starlink system was added in 2025.
