1983 Silverton 34 Convertible

This 1983 Silverton 34 Convertible is a fiberglass cruising and sportfishing boat powered by twin Chevrolet 350 Vortec Crusader engines rated at 315 horsepower each. The engines were installed in 2007 and have accumulated fewer than 500 hours. They are paired with Velvet Drive 71C transmissions and fitted with 18-by-18 three-blade propellers on 1¼-inch shafts. The boat has been updated with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems across its operating life.

The flybridge features a custom wood dash with replaced instrumentation, updated helm seats, and a Uniden VHF radio. Navigation and fish-finding electronics include dual Garmin plotters (942XS and 742XS backup), in-hull transducer, and a new Garmin autopilot installed in 2024. Entertainment consists of a Fusion radio with Bluetooth and a salon smart television. The electrical system supports twin 30-amp shore power with dual battery banks—two Group 31 house batteries and dedicated Group 31 start batteries for each engine—managed through a ProMariner charger.

Accommodations include a galley with a two-burner electric stove, mini refrigerator and freezer, and updated freshwater plumbing converted to blue and red Pex lines. A Webasto 16K BTU HVAC unit with reverse cycle heat and updated ductwork provides climate control. The head is equipped with a Dometic gravity toilet, Delta faucet, and epoxy flooring. Interior finishes include new carpet and padding, reupholstered dinette cushions, and overhead LED lighting.

Recent work includes new fuel tanks installed in 2017, engine and auxiliary tuneup in March 2026, exhaust system overhaul in October 2025, and new deck covering on forward and aft decks in 2026. Bennett trim tabs, a halon fire suppression system, and a three-pump dry bilge setup support operation and safety. Underwater lighting by Lumitec was added in 2022.
