1983 Wauquiez Amphitrite

The Wauquiez Amphitrite is a 1983 French-built cruising ketch designed by Holman & Pye. This 43-footer combines robust fibreglass construction with a powerful ketch rig and centre cockpit layout, making her well-suited for extended cruising and offshore passages. The hull features a striking red finish with teak-laid decks, and the generous beam of 13.68 feet provides substantial living space below deck.

Interior accommodation spans eight berths across multiple cabins, with two heads and a well-equipped galley including fridge, freezer, and oven. The boat is fitted with comprehensive navigation systems including Raymarine, B&G, and Furuno electronics. Power generation and storage include solar panels, an inverter, shore power connection, and Mastervolt charger, along with domestic and bow thruster batteries installed in 2024–2025.

The Amphitrite is powered by a Perkins 72hp engine last serviced in May 2025. Canvas includes a North Sails mainsail from 2008 and genoa from 2019. Recent work includes new batteries, a full engine service, and the hull was last lifted in July 2025 and antifouled in May 2025.
