1984 Carver 3207

This 1984 Carver 3207 is a 32-foot sedan bridge with midship-mounted twin gasoline engines that deliver strong performance and efficient cruising. The boat has been substantially upgraded with two fresh Ford Marine GT40 engines, Edelbrock USCG-approved marine carburetors, and marine Pertronix electronic ignition replacing the original 351 Pleasurecraft engines. The installation benefits from computer-tuned Austral four-blade props and PYI dripless shaft seals. A 10-foot 6-inch AB RIB dinghy with a 15hp Mercury outboard and Dinghy Dumper davit system is included.

The midship engine placement improves weight distribution and allows for direct Velvet Drive transmissions, which provide a more efficient shaft angle than traditional V-drive setups. The additional bilge space facilitates engine maintenance. With these upgrades and fresh bottom paint, the boat has demonstrated 32-knot performance and cruises comfortably at 20 knots; running a single engine at 1700 RPM achieves economical 6.5-knot hull-speed cruising.

Below deck, the layout includes dual helm stations, a V-berth forward, main salon, two beds in the aft cabin, two separate heads, and one shower. The galley is equipped with full-size refrigeration, four-burner stove, and microwave. Additional features include a Magma gas grill and 36-inch smart TV. The flybridge upholstery has been recovered in marine vinyl with new epoxy-coated marine plywood seat bases. Recent updates include a replacement six-gallon hot water tank with AC and engine heat, Racor fuel filter/water separators, Xantrex dual bank battery charger, and a 1750-watt inverter. Two golf cart batteries in a Blue Sea marine battery box replace the original 8D house battery. A Jabsco portaquick 12-volt oil changer is fitted for engine maintenance.
