1984 Post 46 Convertible

This 1984 Post 46 Convertible is a fiberglass-hulled fishing convertible powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 900 hp combined, with under 800 hours on the engines. The boat spans 46 feet in length with a 15-foot beam, built for offshore capability and comfort.

The interior includes two staterooms and full electronics with a new autopilot system. Recent upgrades encompass new shower sump pumps in both heads, a new vacuum-flush head, a new stainless steel 20-gallon hot water heater, and a new refrigerator with freezer. The galley and accommodations feature new headliner and lighting throughout, updated wallpaper, and new salon windows with aluminum railings. A factory hardtop provides weather protection on deck.

The boat has undergone substantial recent maintenance and refitting. The hull bottom was bead blasted, barrier coated, and painted. Both engines received new turbochargers and exhaust elbows. The fuel system includes two new powder-coated tanks, and electrical systems were upgraded with new 8-D batteries and a new forward bilge pump. Bridge canvas was replaced with all new glass. The engines and generator have been continuously serviced and upgraded throughout the boat's ownership.
