1984 President 41 Trawler

This 1984 President 41 trawler is a fiberglass-hulled cruiser built around twin Ford Lehman 120 HP diesel engines. The powerplant has been extensively rebuilt with new alternators, raw water and circulatory pumps, heat exchangers, and overhauled transmissions. The engines log approximately 3,200 hours and deliver exceptional fuel economy of 1.5 to 3 gallons per hour, making the boat well-suited for long-range offshore work.

The interior is finished throughout in warm teak with teak and holly sole. The master stateroom aft holds two single berths with generous storage including an oversized dresser, and connects directly to a full head with shower. A forward V-berth cabin sleeps two and has its own separate head. The salon features a full-size loveseat and large windows, while the galley below includes a full-size refrigerator, induction cooktop, and double stainless sink. The boat sleeps six or more comfortably.

Electrical systems have been upgraded with a 450 amp-hour AGM battery bank, 400 watts of solar panels with charge controller, a Xantrex Freedom inverter/charger, and a Honda EU2000i generator. Navigation equipment includes a Sitex chart plotter and fishfinder combo, full analog instrument panels at both helms, and engine monitors. Twin reverse-cycle air-conditioning and heating units provide year-round climate control.

On deck, the boat features an aft cockpit with wraparound seating, a flybridge helm with captain's chair, windlass, and davits for the included 10-foot Sterling fiberglass dinghy. The teak interior and solid construction throughout reflect the President line's reputation for quality and seakindly handling.
