The 1984 Tollycraft 48 is a fiberglass motor yacht built for extended cruising. Twin Detroit Diesel 671 engines producing 275 horsepower each power the boat, which were installed in 1999 and fitted with new injectors in 2022. The yacht has been systematically maintained and upgraded, with a comprehensive 12-month refit completed in 2023–2024 that included fresh bottom paint, new engine manifolds, and a full refresh of interior woodwork, veneers, and soft goods.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates two staterooms and two heads, with a convertible dinette providing flexible living space. A Gyro Gale articulating stabilizer system installed in 2021 improves seakeeping. The galley and living areas feature updated cabinetry, upholstery, and carpeting completed during the recent refit.
Navigation and propulsion systems include a Raymarine E-120 radar, GPS, and plotter, along with an autopilot, AIS vessel tracking, depth sounders, and dual VHF radios. An 8-kilowatt Onan generator powers the yacht at anchor, backed by a 1500-watt Xantrex inverter and charger. An 11-foot Highfield rigid inflatable dinghy with 20-horsepower outboard and davit complete the tender setup. Additional equipment includes a water maker, Webasto hot water furnace, washer-dryer combination, life raft, and safety gear.
The yacht carries winter and summer line sets, fenders, and sunshades. This model is recognized for one of the longest production runs among modern motor yachts and represents a traditional design with proven offshore capability.
