1985 Beneteau First 38

The Beneteau First 38 is a 1985 fiberglass racer-cruiser built for both competitive sailing and comfortable cruising. At 38 feet with a 12.75-foot beam, this monohull combines a proven, elegant design with solid construction. The boat is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine rated at approximately 39 horsepower, newly installed in 2025 with a five-year Yanmar warranty. It cruises comfortably at 8 knots.

The yacht is equipped with functional sailing hardware including self-tailing deck winches—two Barient 28+ for the mainsail and two Lewmar 46 aft—plus four Lewmar 40 self-tailing winches in the upper cabin.
