1985 C&C 37

The 1985 C&C 37 is a performance-oriented racer-cruiser with a masthead sloop rig and a fiberglass hull with balsa core construction. Designed by Robert Ball, the boat balances speed and stiffness with cruising comfort. A single Yanmar diesel engine of 27 horsepower provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of approximately 7 knots. The cockpit is spacious and well-laid-out, with all lines led aft for efficient handling.

Below deck, the boat offers comfortable accommodations with an enclosed aft stateroom as a factory special order, plus one head. The cabin layout is thoughtfully arranged for cruising, with good headroom and natural light throughout. The beam of nearly 12 feet provides an airy, open feel to the interior spaces.

Recent upgrades include marine air-conditioning, a new dodger, and new covers for the helm and mainsail. The boat is equipped and ready for immediate use, whether for day sailing, club racing under PHRF rules, or extended cruising.
