1985 Chris-Craft 21 Scorpion Cuddy

This 1985 Chris-Craft 21 Scorpion Cuddy has been substantially rebuilt into a dedicated offshore platform. Originally configured for outboard power, the boat features a custom transom, extended deck layout, and G10 composite backing at major load points. Hull strengthening and upgrades were completed between 2019 and 2026, creating a robust foundation for serious open-water use.

Power comes from a Mercury 225 FourStroke with approximately 402 hours, paired with Mercury SmartCraft DTS controls, Active Trim, UFLEX hydraulic steering, and Bennett trim tabs. The boat cruises at 30 knots and reaches speeds over 40 knots. A custom 100-gallon stainless fuel tank provides extended range. Navigation and control systems include a Simrad NSS evo3 12-inch display, Simrad Halo radar, Simrad NAC-2 autopilot, and a Navico Totalscan thru-hull transducer. Communication is handled via an ICOM M424G VHF radio.

The cockpit layout is purpose-built and uncluttered. A Pro-Fab stainless tower with 12 rod holders, a Pacific Edge bait tank with integrated LED lighting and viewing window, Rule 1600 GPH livewell pump, Rule bilge pump, and Jabsco washdown system support fishing operations. Four Scotty 12-volt receptacles and five Boat Outfitters tackle storage hatches provide additional functionality. The deck has been refurbished with updated non-skid and finish work, while the cockpit features custom diamond-stitched upholstery and upgraded helm seating.

Additional systems include a Lewmar 14-pound anchor with Lewmar Pro-Fish 700 helm-controlled windlass, Lumitec full-spectrum underwater LEDs, forward and aft LED spreader lights, an ACR RCL-95 LED searchlight with joystick control, NOCO Genius battery management with 120V shore power, and a Simrad SonicHub 2 marine audio system. Wiring has been organized throughout, and a dual-axle galvanized trailer is included.
