1985 Custom Commercial Steel 100

This 100-foot custom steel explorer yacht was built in 1985 and is currently operating as a tour boat. The hull was designed for commercial service with proven durability and stability, featuring a 24-foot beam. The boat retains 107 rod holders from its original fishing configuration and remains adaptable for charter, tour, or fishing operations. It is certified by the USCG for 150 passengers plus 4 crew, valid through July 2029, and currently rated for 20 nautical miles offshore with potential for upgrade to 100 nautical miles with modifications. The upper deck carries no passenger restrictions.

The boat is powered by twin Cummins KTA19 diesel engines paired with Twin Disc 516 transmissions and Centra coupling at 4.5:1 reduction. The main engines show approximately 24,500 hours, with the port engine rebuilt in December 2017 at 20,177 hours and the starboard engine rebuilt in February 2020 at 21,705 hours. Dual generators were both rebuilt in 2025, with the starboard unit at 20,265 hours and the port at 16,226 hours. Fuel capacity is 3,000 gallons.

The hull received two coats of bottom paint and fresh zincs installed in May 2026. A USCG 2-Year Hull Inspection was completed in May 2026 with no issues found, and thermal scans of the void spaces were run at the same time with no defects detected. The most recent USCG Certificate of Inspection was completed in July 2025 with no deficiencies reported. The boat is operational and actively in service.
