The Nord West 900 is a 30-foot European-built cruiser powered by a single 250-horsepower Volvo diesel engine. The design maximizes interior space with three staterooms plus a settee, accommodating six or more berths. A circular dining area in the forward cabin provides a sheltered gathering spot, while the cockpit is spacious enough for multiple deck chairs and includes a second helm station suitable for fishing.
The galley sits to starboard and features a Wallace propane cooktop that also functions as a cabin diesel heater, along with a refrigerator, sink, and generous counter space. The main lower helm is equipped with JRC radar, a Standard Horizon chart GPS plotter, a Furuno LS6100 depth sounder, and a Robinson AP 1000 autopilot. One head is aboard.
The boat includes a SeaWise dinghy davit system with a Brig RIB tender and an 8-horsepower Yamaha outboard. Cruising speed is 10 knots with a maximum speed of 17 knots, making the yacht efficient for extended coastal exploration.
