The 1985 Post 46 Convertible is a diesel-powered sportfish yacht built on a fiberglass hull, 46 feet in length with a 15-foot-10-inch beam. Twin Detroit Diesel engines produce 970 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 25 knots. The port engine underwent a full rebuild in 2016 with turbo and supercharger work completed in 2025 and engine head replacement in 2026; the starboard engine was rebuilt in 2020. Recent service work through 2024 included mains, transmissions, genset, cooling systems overhaul, air box, and blower work.
The accommodations include two staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom features an en-suite head with separate shower; the guest stateroom has bunk beds and shares access to a second head. The galley is equipped with Nova Kool refrigeration, microwave, and two-burner cooktop. The main salon holds a sofa and entertainment system with Sonos amplifiers and Bose speakers, along with Samsung televisions and a flush-mounted Starlink system.
Electronics include a Raymarine E120 MFDS with plotter, radar, and camera; Raymarine smart autopilot; Richie Powerdamp magnetic compass; and Raymarine VHF radio. The flybridge features a commanding helm station with updated seating and a custom hardtop with enclosed canvas. Interior soft goods, cabinetry, and flooring have been refurbished, while the deck received new non-slip surfaces. Cabin windows and side structure were retrofitted to a modern profile, and the hull has been maintained with anti-fouling paint. All mechanical systems, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems have been inspected and upgraded for reliability.
