1985 Viking 35 Express

This 1985 Viking 35 Express is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Crusader gasoline engines totaling 700 horsepower. The boat is 35 feet long with a 13-foot beam and features trim tabs for improved handling and comfort underway.

The single cabin includes one head, making this an efficient day cruiser layout. The boat forgoes air conditioning and a generator, simplifying systems and reducing winterization requirements.

The yacht has undergone extensive refurbishment since 2018. The bottom received soda blasting and multiple coats of protective barrier and anti-fouling paint in 2019. The transom and port and starboard aft hullsides were rebuilt with composite in 2023 and 2024. All exterior brightwork was stripped and refinished in 2021, and canvas was replaced with Sunbrella in 2022. Recent updates include new mooring and helm covers, an electric windlass, and fresh bottom paint and wax. Engine work in 2023 included a full tune-up, propeller balancing, and cutlass bearing replacement. Navigation equipment includes a Garmin 942xs plotter and GT23M-TH transducer installed in 2019.
