1986 Catalina 30

This 1986 Catalina 30 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built for cruising the Great Lakes and beyond. Powered by a 21 horsepower Universal diesel engine, the boat features wheel steering, a Harken roller furler, and a comprehensive suite of navigation and control systems. The sails include a 2024 Ulman mainsail with four full battens, a new 2024 Ulman 140 genoa, a racing 150 genoa from 2017, and a symmetrical spinnaker with pole. Canvas work includes a new 2024 bimini top and dodger, both with frames and fittings.

The yacht carries significant recent upgrades across its systems. Electronics installed in 2020 include a Garmin G Wind transducer and NMEA 2000 connection. In 2024, a Raymarine Evolution EV 100 autopilot was added, along with a new battery charger, starter panel, canvas canopy, and fire extinguishers. A microwave was installed in early 2025. The engine has logged 1,402 hours.

Accommodations include a galley with an Origo alcohol stove, microwave, and hot and cold pressurized water. There is one head, and the cabin features teak interior trim with three cushioned berths. Cockpit amenities include a teak table, two stern seats, and a flat-screen television. The boat is equipped with dual Danforth anchors, four winches (two self-tailing), dual 24-amp gel batteries, an electric bilge pump, and all standing and running rigging necessary for operation.
