1986 C&C 35 MK III
About This Yacht
This 1986 C&C 35 Mark III is a fiberglass sailing yacht built on the proven design that established the model as one of the most respected performance cruisers of its era. The 35-foot hull with an 11-foot beam delivers strong offshore capability and comfortable accommodations, powered by a Yanmar 3YM30 diesel engine producing 30 horsepower.
The boat has received substantial upgrades over recent years. A new North Sails 130% furling jib was added in 2025, paired with an updated Raymarine navigation suite including an Axiom 9 chartplotter and Mk II wheel-drive autopilot. Onboard systems include a Dometic refrigeration unit, a Xantrex 1000W inverter, and a Jabsco macerator pump. The standing rigging was partially replaced in 2019, and a new cutlass bearing was installed in 2018. A comprehensive Raymarine instrument package with wind, depth, and speed instrumentation was completed in 2026.
The engine itself was replaced in 2008 with the new Yanmar diesel, ensuring modern reliability and fuel efficiency. Structural maintenance has been consistent throughout the boat's ownership, supporting her readiness for extended cruising in Atlantic waters.
