1986 Custom Seahorse

This 28-foot Custom Seahorse is a fiberglass explorer built in 1986 and configured as a working crabber and gillnetter. The boat runs on a single 350-horsepower Mercury Cruiser gasoline engine paired with an outdrive.

The working deck includes a live well with its own water pump and high-water alarm, plus a double-sided gillnet drum. The 3/4-inch rubber decking covers the working areas. Three additional water pumps service different sections of the boat. Power comes from 8D batteries, and navigation and communication equipment aboard includes GPS, VHF, radar, and a chartplotter with dash screen.

A recent reconditioning included replacement of the hydraulic tank, pump, and lines; fuel tank; all wiring; trim tabs; and outdrive rams. The boat is registered in Washington.
