The 1986 Hatteras 36 Sedan is a fiberglass cruiser built with a solid beam of 13.7 feet, designed for family cruising and fishing. Twin Crusader 454 engines deliver 350 horsepower each and have logged just 400 hours since their last overhaul. The boat features a classic sedan design with a long foredeck, full flybridge topped with a Bimini canopy, and an open cockpit suitable for seating, sunning, or fishing. Sweeping sheer lines and large forward windshields with sliding side windows give the interior an airy, open feel.
Below deck, the boat sleeps four with a private vee berth forward and a starboard U-shaped dinette that converts to a double bed. The galley includes a dual 12/110-volt refrigerator-freezer, three-burner electric stove, convection oven, microwave, and grill with generous storage. The head features a separate stand-up shower with a seat. The salon holds a futon couch, flat-screen television, wet bar, and barrel chairs. Two air conditioning systems provide climate control—a forward CruiseAir with reverse-cycle heat in the state room and an upgraded Webasto system with the same capability in the salon.
The flybridge offers forward seating with storage, twin captain's chairs, and full 360-degree enclosures. A Westerbeke 8kW generator with 475 hours since new powers the onboard systems. Navigation and helm electronics include a RayMarine 4-foot open array radar, VHF radio with remote in the galley, GPS plotter with colored monitor for sonar and depth-finding, a Lemar windlass with remote helm control, and a Jabsco remote search light. Bennett trim tabs and a radar arch complete the steering setup. Fuel capacity is 355 gallons and freshwater storage is 115 gallons.
