1986 Hatteras 43 Motor Yacht

The 1986 Hatteras 43 Motor Yacht is a 43-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines delivering 320 horsepower each, with direct drive configuration. The yacht combines the respected build quality of Hatteras with a practical layout suited to extended cruising and comfortable living aboard.

The interior features two cabins and two heads. The forward guest cabin includes an en-suite head with separate shower stall and direct access from the salon. The aft master cabin has a centerline queen bed, storage drawers, and hanging locker, along with its own en-suite head and shower. A stacked washer and dryer is installed in the master cabin. The main salon offers two L-shaped settees with room for additional seating. The galley is equipped with an electric three-burner cooktop, oven, apartment-size refrigerator with freezer, stainless steel sink, and microwave.

The flybridge features a full enclosure with two captain's chairs and a bench seat. Navigation equipment includes a Garmin 1040xs chartplotter and a Garmin GPS Map 4212 (the screen on this unit requires replacement). The aft deck is spacious with an outdoor flat-screen television, wing doors, refrigerator with ice maker, and full enclosure.

The interior has been updated with new flooring throughout and maintains a classic appearance. This is a well-regarded example of the popular Hatteras 43 Double Cabin design.
