This 1986 Hatteras 70 Cockpit Motor Yacht began as a 63-foot design and was extended to 70 feet with a custom cockpit addition. The yacht is powered by twin General Motors diesel engines rated at 1,300 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 70 feet in length with an 18-foot beam.
The interior has been extensively refurbished with a designer aesthetic throughout. The full-beam salon features formal seating for eight and incorporates an L-shaped sofa, large opening windows, and access to a covered aft deck overlooking the fishing cockpit. The galley is equipped with custom counters and top-line appliances. The owner's stateroom spans the full beam aft and includes a walk-in dressing room with heated marble floors and marble throughout. Three additional staterooms forward each have adjoining heads, and a dedicated office and washer-dryer provide additional functionality. Cabinetry features matched grain throughout, cedar-lined lockers, back-lit etched glass, and custom furnishings and lighting.
The flybridge and bridge deck are accessed from the wheelhouse and offer extensive entertaining space. The helm features a center console with complete engine controls and new gauges and electronics. The flybridge includes a gas-lit fireplace in front of a large U-shaped couch, a built-in barbecue with refrigerator, and a floating island with sink and prep area. A Boston Whaler tender is mounted on the bridge deck with davit. Original Hatteras documentation, detailed blueprints of all systems, and equipment manuals accompany the yacht.
