1986 Mason 33

Curlew is a 1986 Mason 33 built by Ta Shing in Taiwan, hull number 21 of 23. At 33 feet 9 inches overall with a 10 foot 10 inch beam and 5 foot draft, she carries a medium-heavy displacement of 14,000 pounds. Her long keel features a cut-away forefoot that reduces wetted surface and enhances maneuverability while maintaining directional stability.

The cockpit is deep and secure, with long seats suitable for relaxing or sleeping under the stars. Storage is generous, with substantial lockers on both port and starboard sides plus a separate vented locker aft for propane and dinghy fuel. The interior throughout is finished in teak, contributing to both aesthetics and durability aboard.

This Mason 33 has been actively cruised along the Atlantic coast, from the Chesapeake Bay through Maine and local Martha's Vineyard waters, demonstrating her ocean-going capability. Her graceful lines and proven design make her well suited to extended voyaging.
