1986 Ocean Yachts 38 Super Sport

The 38 Super Sport is a proven sportfish design from Ocean Yachts, known for its clean lines, tapered low-deadrise hull, and responsive handling. Twin Caterpillar 3126B diesels deliver 900 horsepower, pushing the boat to speeds of 30 knots and cruising comfortably at 25 knots. The engines, installed in 2000, have accumulated 2,800 hours.

Below decks, the two-stateroom layout centers the galley in the salon and features teak joinery throughout. The forward cabin includes a walkaround double berth, while the head offers a separate shower stall. The cockpit is configured for fishing, with a tackle center, freezer, and teak covering boards.

Recent updates include interior refurbishment in 2024 with new custom seating, carpet, blinds, and a freshwater flush toilet. In spring 2025, new dripless stuffing boxes and cutlass bearings were installed. The starboard engine received new motor mounts, turbo, and exhaust elbow. Both engines were realigned and their shafts inspected.
