1986 Offshore Yachts 48 Yachtfisher

The 1986 Offshore Yachts 48 Yachtfisher is a cockpit motor yacht built on a semi-displacement hull design. At 48 feet with a 15.5-foot beam, the boat offers substantial space throughout. Power comes from two Caterpillar diesel engines rated at 750 horsepower combined, designed for reliable cruising and exploration.

Recent maintenance and upgrades reflect considerable investment in the boat's systems. New aluminum fuel tanks were installed in 2025. Navigation and electronics include dual Simrad chartplotters with radar and side-scan fish-finding capability, a Simrad 4G radar, and a new ICOM VHF radio, all added between 2022 and 2024. Engine-related work includes new cutlass shaft bearings, trued prop shafts with new graphite packing, balanced propellers, and a serviced generator with a new heat exchanger and exhaust muffler, all completed in 2024. A new vacuum pump was fitted to the forward head and a new macerator motor installed for the aft holding tank. The flybridge has a hard top added in 2015.

The hull and topsides have been polished and waxed. Engine maintenance is current and up to date across all systems.
