1986 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer

This 1986 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer is a 27-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin 350-horsepower MerCruiser engines, capable of 28 knots top speed and 20 knots cruising. The boat has been maintained throughout its service life and used exclusively in fresh water on the Great Lakes and Lake St. Clair system over six years and more than 1,000 miles of cruising.

Major mechanical work has been completed: one engine was replaced with a 4.3L MerCruiser (approximately 50 hours of operation), both outdrives were rebuilt, and a Garmin chartplotter with depth sounder was installed. The engines start reliably, run smoothly, and shift properly.

Below deck, the interior retains its original 1986 configuration and is in sound condition. Amenities include a refrigerator, microwave, full camper canvas, electric anchor windlass, and portable air conditioning. The boat is fitted with a Weaver dinghy davit system and includes a heavy-duty tri-axle trailer. The hull structure is solid with no soft spots, and all major systems are operational.
