The 1986 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer is a 34-foot fiberglass express cruiser built on a deep-V hull. Twin 340-horsepower MerCruiser V-drive gasoline inboards power the boat, with fuel capacity of 172 gallons. The elevated helm and companion seating are positioned to starboard in the cockpit, with a removable transom bench that accommodates four adults. Removable hatches in the aft cockpit sole allow convenient access to the engines.
The interior layout features a private aft cabin and a forward stateroom that opens to the main cabin. The galley is U-shaped, with an enlarged dinette adjacent to it. A single head serves the accommodations. The boat sleeps three couples across its cabin spaces.
Recent updates include cabin lighting converted to LED and Strataglass window treatments installed in 2023. Navigation and radar by Garmin were added in 2021, along with new dash panels, anchor and nav lights, and a windlass battery. The galley received a new microwave and water filter in 2021. The head was serviced with new ball seals and duck valves, and seat upholstery was replaced in late 2021. Oil pressure sending units were renewed at 1,210 hours. The Vacuflush system received new ball and seals in 2023. The boat has been stored indoors since new.
