This 1986 Tiara Sport Pursuit 2000 is a 20-foot cuddy cabin powered by twin 1995 Mercury 115-horsepower outboards. The starboard engine runs reliably, while the port motor requires attention to idle and timing settings. Both engines passed compression tests in spring 2026 (readings of 110–120 psi), and fuel pumps were rebuilt on both units that same season.
The boat carries navigation and fish-finding electronics including a Raymarine p70RS autopilot, Lowrance GPS and fish finder, and a ship-to-shore radio. Onboard amenities include a Bluetooth stereo system with Fusion speakers, a radar arch with flood lights, a 55-gallon fuel tank, and a cuddy cabin with portable toilet. The helm features an upgraded switch panel, shift and throttle cables, and a genuine Mercury shifter. A full canvas enclosure and kicker motor bracket are fitted, along with a custom rod holder setup.
Recent work spans several years of maintenance and rebuild. The port engine received a new powerhead in 2021. The trailer was refitted in 2020 with new tires, rims, and bearings. Spring 2024 brought new thermostats, poppet valves, impellers, tune-ups, and fresh batteries. In spring 2025, fuel lines, helm switch panel, trailer lights, and a Shakespeare VHF antenna were replaced. Spring 2026 saw a bilge pump, battery switch, battery cables, and engine power cables installed, along with complete carburetor rebuilds and replacement stator and CDI box on the port engine.
The boat comes with a dual-axle trailer, five lifejackets, two fenders, lines, a fire extinguisher, an onboard battery charger, and a new anchor. A portable boarding ladder is included.
