This 1987 Bayliner 3870 is a 38-foot twin-diesel cruiser built on a fiberglass hull. Powered by two Hino diesel engines producing 350 horsepower combined, the boat is designed for comfortable coastal and extended cruising.
The interior follows Bayliner's mid-cabin layout with multiple sleeping areas and heads. The main cabin features a large wrap-around dinette to port and lower helm station to starboard, with a double berth positioned under the sole. Forward is the master stateroom with an ensuite head. A second head includes a shower and tub. The design provides good flexibility for both cruising couples and families.
The cockpit is generously proportioned with a factory hardtop and enclosure panels. A custom extended swim grid provides water access, and an upper helm station is enclosed. Equipment aboard includes diesel heating, air conditioning, a watermaker, washer/dryer combo, and underwater lights. The boat is reported to be clean and well-maintained.
