1987 Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport

The 1987 Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport is a 15-foot center console finished to exacting standards. Powered by a 2020 Yamaha F70 four-stroke outboard, it cruises at 28 knots and reaches 38 knots at wide throttle. The hull and topsides have been refinished in Awlgrip Awlcraft 2000 Eggshell White, with all original brass and chrome hardware restored. The interior mahogany has been fully restored using the Awlgrip Awlwood system with ten spray-applied coats. Custom solid teak inserts adorn the helm, pull switches, and stern light mounts, all finished to the same high gloss standard. A custom removable vented timber hatch with storage completes the deck arrangement.

Electrical systems have been comprehensively rewired with marine-grade triple-tinned copper wire. The original fuse box has been relocated to the console with a Blue Sea Systems distribution panel. A Century Marine Pro 780 start battery (100Ah) is installed, with provision for a secondary lithium trolling motor battery. Navigation electronics include a Garmin GPSMAP 8410XSV ten-inch multifunction display with Yamaha engine integration and a Garmin GT56UHD-TM transducer offering High-Wide CHIRP, ClearVu, and SideVu sonar modes. A Ritchie illuminated compass, Blue Sea Systems voltmeter, and integrated fuel sender complete the electronics package. LED navigation and stern lights meet Boston Whaler USA specification.

The center console features a custom EVA foam deck and trimmed helm seat cushion. Four stainless steel cup holders and two rod holders are fitted. Original equipment includes OEM Boston Whaler components sourced directly from the USA: vented fuel filler, fuel tank vent, gunnel rail, and harpoon transom plate. A 60-litre custom fuel tank is installed. Yamaha dual digital gauges with binnacle control and a 45-litre Yeti cooler are aboard. The original 1987 Perspex windscreen remains in place. A spare Yamaha service kit is included.

The boat is supplied with a 2022 Evolution braked trailer fitted with keel rollers, slides, and LED lighting. Lifting points are rated for secure launching and recovery.
