1987 Boston Whaler 22 Outrage

A 1987 Boston Whaler 22 Outrage center console with a deep-V fiberglass hull built for offshore performance and fishing. The 22-footer combines seaworthiness with substantial storage throughout the center console and cockpit layout, making it suitable for serious fishing or family cruising.

The boat was repowered in December 2022 with a Suzuki 200 hp outboard featuring fly-by-wire controls and hydraulic jack plate. The refit included new rigging from helm to motor, upgraded steering via Sea Star kit, 2-gauge battery cables, 13.5-inch power steering wheel, and a 3-blade stainless steel prop. Navigation and electronics comprise a Lowrance Elite 12Ti2 GPS/sounder, Bose Bluetooth marine radio, Lenco Marine trim tabs, and a 10-foot Power Pole Blade with remote control. A Motor Guide Great White 36-volt trolling motor and onboard battery charger are fitted.

The hull and structural components were refreshed: the 77-gallon fuel tank was replaced and reglassed in place, the floor was renewed in 2019 by Choates Boats, modern gunwales with 22 Outrage imprinting were installed, and through-hull fittings were replaced in 2022. Original bottom paint was removed and reapplied. Teak was refinished in 2022. The boat features a removable bench behind the leaning post, an oxygen tank with regulator under the leaning post for baitwell aeration, and removable bow rails. Included are a 2020 aluminum dual-axle McClain trailer with spare tire and hub, a 25-gallon auxiliary livewell, anchor, eight life jackets, dock bumpers, and a 50-quart bait cooler.
