About This Yacht
The Carver 28 Riviera is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Mercruiser engines totaling 430 horsepower. The boat centers on a large, well-appointed cockpit designed for entertaining, featuring a custom dry-bar, raised seating with 360-degree visibility, and a convertible dinette that doubles as a berth. An electronics arch and a six-foot sunlounge complete the outdoor spaces.
Below deck, the Riviera offers two private staterooms plus the main cabin. The aft stateroom includes both single and double berths with a vanity, hanging locker, and storage. The main cabin houses a spacious U-shaped dinette that converts into a large double berth, alongside a fully equipped galley with stainless steel sink, stove with oven, refrigerator, and generous counter and storage. The head compartment features a large vanity and hot shower.
The boat is equipped with central air conditioning in the fore and aft cabins, engine cabin heat distributed throughout, Raymarine Autopilot, Garmin Chart Captain, and hydraulic steering. Safety features include three bilge pumps, an 80-gallon fuel capacity, 40 gallons of water, and a new fire extinguisher system. The engines were rebuilt with 105 hours of running time, engine stringers were rebuilt, and the interior and cockpit were replaced six years ago. Inside heated storage is available.
