1987 Carver Voyager

This 28-foot Carver Voyager is a fiberglass convertible built around a practical layout that combines cruising comfort with entertaining space. The twin 220 hp Merc 350 engines with V-drives and dual 90-gallon fuel tanks provide the power and range for extended trips, and both engines have been recently rebuilt with minimal running time. Twin helm stations allow operation from either the upper flybridge or the lower salon.

Below deck, the single cabin features a private stateroom with hanging locker, a galley equipped with electric refrigerator and freezer, two-burner convertible range, and sink. The head includes a shower and sink. Interior soft goods—fabrics, cushions, and draperies—have been updated. Air conditioning is fitted throughout.

The flybridge is the standout feature, with seating for six and a table that converts into a full-size sun pad. Twin electric Cannon downriggers are installed for fishing capability. This layout delivers the open-air entertaining space the Voyager was known for while maintaining full-service living quarters below.
