The Chaparral Villain II is a 20-foot fiberglass performance boat built in 1987. This example has been extensively modified for increased speed and capability. The original 5.7L V-8 engine was removed and replaced with a supercharged 6.2L motor, built and installed by Flagship Marine. The stock Alpha SS Merc outdrive was upgraded with titanium and composite shaft and gear components, work completed by Flagship Marine High Performance Engines and General Prop and Shaft, allowing the boat to run a higher-pitch prop with maximum cupping for enhanced performance.
The boat features a custom exterior wrap and a custom high-wattage sound system. With its modifications, this Chaparral combines the model's known comfort and usability with substantially increased speed compared to stock examples from the era.
