1987 Chris-Craft 38 Commander

This 1987 Chris-Craft 38 Commander is a fiberglass sportfish boat powered by twin Crusader engines. The boat cruises at 14 knots and measures 38 feet in length with a beam of nearly 14 feet, offering a solid platform for coastal and island cruising.

Below decks, the Commander provides two cabins and a single head. Recent work has included new teak and holly flooring throughout the interior, creating a warm and comfortable living space. The boat also received a new ladder to the flybridge and updated side decks with larger treads and improved angles for safer passage.

A comprehensive service program was completed in winter 2025, addressing both mechanical and structural elements. This included new shaft seals, cutlass bearings, and zincs; fresh fuel and running gear service; a new bow thruster; new bottom paint; and updates to all deck ladders—the bridge ladder, cockpit boarding ladder, and swim step ladder. New drip guards were fitted to the engine coolers, and a new tender winch was installed.
