The Chris-Craft 427 Catalina is a 42-foot fiberglass motor yacht built in 1987 with twin Crusader 454 engines producing 350 horsepower each. Designed on a modified-V hull for stable coastal cruising, she combines a spacious live-aboard layout with solid construction and thoughtful onboard systems.
Accommodations include two staterooms with walk-around queen berths, each with an ensuite head, plus an enclosed shower and additional electric flush head. The main salon features an L-shaped settee and dining area, while the galley is fitted with a full stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and breakfast bar. Twin air conditioning units and a hot water heater support year-round comfort.
Exterior spaces are extensive, with a hardtop-covered sundeck enhanced by a custom full EZ2CY hard enclosure and double hardtops creating protected entertaining areas. Aft deck furniture, an electric windless, and a backup camera complete the setup. Tank capacity includes 400 gallons of fuel, 160 gallons of fresh water, and 60 gallons of holding tank capacity.
Recent work includes a stripped and repainted bottom, upgraded galley microwave, new aft ice maker and beverage cooler, and refreshed canvas and glass throughout. An Onan 6.5kW generator, VHF radio, and 12/110-volt electrical systems support extended cruising.
