1987 Chris-Craft 500 Constellation

The 1987 Chris-Craft 500 Constellation is a 50-foot sports cruiser powered by twin Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engines producing 1,100 horsepower. She cruises at 15 knots with a maximum speed of 21 knots and is fitted with a 20kW Onan diesel generator for extended operation. The fiberglass hull spans 15.25 feet at the beam and is designed for comfortable cruising and extended time away from home.

The accommodations include three staterooms and three heads throughout the boat. The master stateroom sits on the centerline with a queen berth, vanities, and a private en-suite head. Forward is a guest stateroom with twin bunks and a built-in desk area, while a third stateroom offers over-under bunks. The galley-down features a full-size refrigerator and freezer, electric stove, microwave, and double sink with generous storage.

The main deck layout flows from the aft salon—which contains a settee, table, wet bar, and ice maker—through to the lower helm with a bench seat and full engine instrumentation. The flybridge offers a spacious aft sundeck covered by dual bimini tops with a removable three-sided enclosure, captain's chairs at the upper helm station, and navigation equipment. A swim platform with boarding ladder provides easy access from the water. Five air-conditioning units maintain comfort throughout the interior.
