A 1987 Biddison 2200 center console with a comprehensive stem-to-stern refit. The original design features a solid deep-V hull with approximately 21-degree deadrise, built by the now-legendary Biddison Brothers in Florida. This 22-foot boat combines the classic seaworthiness these hulls are known for with substantially updated systems throughout.
The boat has been repowered with a 2001 Yamaha 250hp outboard (Model Z250TXRB) running just 175 hours. The fuel system is new, including a USCG-approved 60-gallon Moeller marine tank with fresh fuel lines and an oversized filter and water separator. The electrical infrastructure was completely rewired with marine-grade components rated for a larger vessel, dual Optima BlueTop AGM batteries, a Blue Sea Systems switch panel, and an onboard charger. Custom Lumitec LED deck lighting, Scanstrut USB and 12-volt outlets, and an Icom VHF radio with teak trim accent round out the updates. A Fusion six-speaker stereo system with a 1500-watt amplifier provides audio capability.
The hull received a professional Awlgrip repaint in Hatteras Off-White less than five years ago. A Magic Tilt "Magic Loader" trailer with new wheels, tires, and bearings is included. The refit used minimal hours since completion.
