This 1987 Gozzard 36 is a fiberglass sailing cruiser that underwent comprehensive modernization in 2024 and 2025. The boat received fresh bottom paint and hull refinishing in early 2026, along with all new standing and running rigging. A new Seldon roller furler was installed for the genoa, and the compression post was fully replaced.
The electrical system was upgraded with a Garmin 943xsv radar bundle, GNX wired sail pack, NMEA 2000 starter kit, and a 410-watt solar panel array. Power management includes a Victron Energy Phoenix 3000 inverter/charger and dual battery banks: two new Lifeline 12v AGM units rated at 200Ah each, and four additional Group 31 AGM batteries at 105Ah. Communications equipment includes a Starlink system for offshore connectivity.
Recent mechanical work encompassed new bilge pumps installed in 2025. The interior received custom woodwork with new toe rails and a custom wood railing around the cockpit finished with stainless steel support cowlings. A custom transom step hatch was cut and fitted.
