This 97-foot Guy Couach motor yacht was built in 1987 and powered by twin Detroit Diesel 12V92 turbocharged engines producing 2,200 horsepower combined. The boat cruises at 11 knots with a maximum speed of 22 knots, and features a lightweight Kevlar over balsa core hull construction. The vessel accommodates up to six cabins with six heads, making it suitable for extended voyaging or charter operations.
The main deck centers on a large galley and expansive main salon with bar seating, formal dining, and lounge areas. The flybridge offers extensive seating for over 25 guests and includes a marble fireplace with custom lighting and furniture. Below decks, accommodations comprise a master stateroom with his-and-hers heads connected by a tub, a VIP stateroom with king berth and ensuite, an adjoining stateroom with bunks, two spacious guest cabins with twin beds and full heads, and crew quarters with two berths and ensuite head. Modular furniture throughout allows flexible interior configuration.
The boat underwent a comprehensive 2009–2011 rebuild that included new interior, helm stations, galley, electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems. A 2024 Vetus 320 48V brushless bowthruster replaced the previous 8-inch hydraulic unit, and 2023 Glendenning controllers were installed for throttles and transmissions. In 2020, the hull received new teak decking and high-durability Imron paint; during this work, the balsa core was inspected with a moisture meter and compromised areas were replaced with honeycomb or solid PVC. The boat was last hauled out in July 2024 for bowthruster installation and routine maintenance including bottom paint, running gear, zincs, and propellers.
