The Pearson 31-2 is a 31-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1987, powered by an 18-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. It features a shoal draft keel of 3'9", which allows access to shallow bays and protected anchorages that deeper-draft boats cannot reach. The boat cruises at 6 knots with a top speed of 7 knots.
Below deck, the interior sleeps six to seven and includes a two-burner propane stove with oven. The cabin features cushions in good condition and benefits from a portable air conditioning unit for the forward hatch. Topside, a Bimini top and dodger provide weather protection in the cockpit, and the boat is equipped with a Garmin GPS chartplotter and a recently added Fortress anchor from 2024.
Recent maintenance includes a mixing elbow replaced in 2023 and a throttle cable replaced in 2022. The boat carries a full winter cover and a 30-amp shore power cord. A fresh bottom paint was applied in 2026.
