This 1987 Sumerset is a 60-foot aluminum-hull houseboat powered by twin Mercruiser 120 gasoline engines with Alpha One outdrives. The boat has undergone extensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration since 2022, with work completed through 2026.
The galley features modern stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, and icemaker, along with an island, bar seating, and ample cabinetry. The interior includes plush carpeting, a queen sofa sleeper, and a fireplace with shiplap accent wall. Two full heads are equipped with subway tile. Air conditioning is provided through central HVAC plus a portable unit in the salon. The boat sleeps multiple guests and includes a portable spa on deck.
Power and systems have been comprehensively updated. The engines receive annual maintenance including oil, filters, and plugs, with belts and hoses inspected and replaced as needed. Outdrives were serviced in August 2025 with bellows, cables, and gimbals fully overhauled. The electrical system features a Westerbeke 8.0 KW generator, a Xantrex Freedom 458 inverter powered by eight new Duracell AGM batteries installed in 2025, and Victron Connect monitoring with app control. Shore power is 50-amp single. Fresh water capacity is 50 gallons with a 12-gallon water heater. Fuel is drawn from a single 60-gallon tank; gas lines were replaced in 2024. A high-flow bilge pump provides drainage.
Exterior work includes a new bow enclosure with screens and roll-up Isenglass, refreshed paint and decals, retractable sunshades, and a complete polyurethane roof applied in 2026. The upper deck has a shade sail and solar lighting. Interior updates through 2025 include new LED lighting throughout and modern entertainment with a Samsung smart TV and Bluetooth audio system.
