1987 Viking 44 Motor Yacht

This 1987 Viking 44 is a fiberglass motor yacht spanning 44 feet in length with a 15-foot beam. Twin Detroit Diesel 6-71 TI engines, each producing 450 horsepower, provide dependable propulsion through direct drive. The boat carries 460 gallons of fuel, 180 gallons of fresh water, and an 80-gallon holding tank, with total engine hours at 1945.

The interior is arranged with a master stateroom featuring a queen walk-around bed, full-wall dresser, hanging lockers, and an ensuite head with shower and electric toilet. A forward stateroom offers upper and lower berths with storage and a dressing seat. The forward head provides a second shower and electric toilet for guests. A dinette converts to a bed, and an L-shaped lounge sofa in the salon adds additional sleeping space. The galley spans the full beam and includes a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, ceramic cooktop with teak trim, garbage disposal, and abundant storage.

The aft deck is fully covered and enclosed, with a wooden bar, outdoor furniture, and hardtop protection. The bridge features two lounge seats, adjustable helm and companion seating, and a hardtop with full canvas and Strataglass enclosure. A Lewmar power windlass, lighted instrumentation, and controls for navigation electronics are standard at the helm. A washing machine and dryer are aboard, along with heating and air conditioning throughout.

Recent work includes new aft deck cushions and transmission cables in 2025, all-new canvas and Strataglass in 2024, a resurfaced roof and pulpit, new 4-speaker Bluetooth stereo, reinforced foredeck, updated freshwater pump, and new hot water heater. A full suite of navigation and communication equipment is installed, including VHF radio, autopilot, GPS plotter, and depth sounder.
