The 1988 Blue Water Coastal Cruiser is a 51-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Crusader gasoline engines. Built with shallow-water capability—drawing just 2 feet—the boat combines the interior volume and stability of the Blue Water design with practical cruising performance. The low profile and engine placement create a lower center of gravity, delivering a smooth, stable ride in varied water conditions.
The interior comprises three staterooms and two full heads with shower and tub, a layout uncommon in boats this size. The galley includes a double sink, electric stove and oven, microwave, and room for a full-size refrigerator. The open salon, lit by large windows with port screens, flows into an expansive flybridge suitable for entertaining and relaxed cruising.
Standard equipment includes shore power with battery charger, electric and manual bilge pumps, a bilge blower, anchor with rode, four dock lines, six fenders, windscreen cover, and Bimini top. Navigation and communication gear comprise a compass, VHF radio, and depth sounder. Additional items onboard are an FM/CD player, horn, four fire extinguishers, first aid kit, twenty life preservers, and a boat hook. The generator has been removed but the space remains available for reinstallation. Fuel capacity is 320 gallons with 80 gallons fresh water storage.
The boat spent its entire history on Lake Winnipesaukee, a freshwater environment that has supported long-term preservation of the hull and systems.
