The 1988 Boston Whaler Temptation 2200 is a 22-foot fiberglass walkaround built during the final year of the Temptation series production run. Sharing the same hull design as the Outrage and Revenge models, it combines speed and fishing versatility in a single package. The boat features the extended covered bow characteristic of performance-oriented designs from that era, paired with interior accommodations unusual for Boston Whalers of the period.
The cabin offers a single berth and includes new upholstery throughout the cockpit and cabin areas. The boat is equipped with a Fusion Marine stereo system, VHF radio, and accent lighting. The helm and seating have been updated with contemporary upholstery while maintaining the boat's original aesthetic.
Recently restored, the hull gel coat and paint are in current condition. The engine installation is underway: a new 300-horsepower Yamaha outboard is being fitted to replace the previous 225-horsepower four-stroke Yamaha powerplant. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 50 mph and cruises at 28 mph. A trailer is included with the purchase.
